Indonesian Buddhist Vesak commemorates came to Borobudur Temple

Metrotvnews.com Magelang, Indonesia, the number of Buddhists began to flood the court of the temple of Borobudur, Magelang, Central Java, Indonesia. They were one goal and intention: to follow the process of Vesak.
Top of Vesak will be held the evening later. But before getting there, Buddhists will follow the procession Bhakti Puja. While the two essential elements of Vesak, the water and the sacred fire was interred at Borobudur.

Vesak is an important Buddhist ritual. Vesak is always held in May, when the light of the moon (full moon sidhi), to commemorate three important events: First commemorate the birth of Prince Siddhartha in Lumbini in 623 BC (BCE).

Second, when Prince Siddhartha reached the Supreme Enlightenment and became Buddha at Buddha-Gaya (Bodhgaya) at age 35 in 588 BC. Third, Gautama Buddha Parinibbana (died) in Kusinárá at age 80 in 543 BC.

Three events were called "Trisuci Vesak". The decision to celebrate this Trisuci stated in Brotherhood of the World Buddhist Conference (World Fellowship of Buddhists), the first in Sri Lanka in 1950. (ICH)
